USMC M3A1 37mm anti-tank gun
The 37 mm Gun M3 was the first dedicated anti-tank gun fielded by United States forces. Introduced in 1940, it became their standard with its size enabling it to be pulled by a jeep. However, the continuing improvement of German tanks quickly rendered the 37 mm ineffective, and by 1943 it was being gradually replaced in the European and Mediterranean theatres by the more powerful British-developed 57 mm Gun M1.
In the Pacific, where the Japanese tank threat was less significant, the M3 remained in service until the end of the war. Like many other light anti-tank guns, the M3 was widely used in the infantry support role and as an anti-personnel weapon, firing high-explosive and canister rounds.
The M3 saw action for the first time during the defence of the Philippines in December 1941. It went on to become a factor in the Guadalcanal Campaign, where it was successfully employed against both Japanese armour and infantry.
Throughout the war it remained effective against Japanese vehicles, which were thinly armoured and were rarely committed in large groups. The light weight of the gun made it easy to move through difficult terrain, against enemy fortifications the M3 was only somewhat effective because of its small high-explosive projectile.
Its overall effectiveness and ease of use meant the gun remained in service with the Marine Corps and with some Army units in the Pacific until the end of the war.

The 6pdr was one of the most widely used Allied anti-tank guns during the Second World War. British gun crews would camouflage their weapons, hiding them in wooded areas and obscuring them with hedgerows in order to take enemy vehicles by surprise - shooting at the weaker-armoured side or rear armour in order to have the best chance of destroying enemy tanks.
This Blister contains one metal gun with crew. These models are supplied unpainted, and assembly may also be required.

Dad's Army
During the dark days of 1940, Britain was under dire threat of Nazi invasion. A massive citizen army, the Local Defence Volunteers, was raised to defend their families and homes. Although armed with old or ad hoc weapons and equipment the Home Guard, as it became known, was a vital part of the defence of British shores. Based on these proud defenders of the realm, the classic TV series, Dad's Army produced some of television's most enduring catchphrases and characters as it followed the adventures of Walmington-on-Sea's Home Guard platoon.
The boxed set contains:
18 superbly detailed miniatures sculpted by Paul Hicks - representations of the cast of the classic TV series, Dad's Army in civilian and Home Guard attire!
Included are Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Lance-Corporal Jones, Privates Pike, Walker, Frazer and Godfrey, plus Warden Hodges, the Verger and Reverend Farthing.
Also included are plastic bases and a leaflet chronicling Dad's Army and how you can field them in games of Bolt Action on the tabletop.

Initially designated the M4A3(76)W HVSS but shortened to M4A3E8 (the E8 denoting the HVSS suspension), this medium tank was eventually nicknamed the 'Easy Eight' by the US soldiers who fought in and alongside them. The Easy Eight boasts several improvements over earlier M4 Sherman designs, such as the Horizontal Volute Suspension System (HVSS) and wider tracks, giving it better ground performance; welded hull instead of cast, giving better protection; and 76mm M1A2 main gun, putting it on par with the German 75mm guns.
The first Easy Eights were introduced in December 1944, just in time to see action in the Battle of the Bulge. Though the potency of its main gun threatened the Axis medium tanks, it still needed to target the rear armour on heavier German vehicles.
Over 2,500 Easy Eights were produced during the Second World War, and the design proved successful enough to see it continue to fight during the Korean War and even into the Vietnam conflict.

These highly detailed plastic and metal figures represent soldiers of several arms of the Italian military - the regular army (the Regio Esercito) as well as specialists like the Carabinieri, Granatieri, or the fascist Camicie Nere (the Blackshirts) with their trademark black fezzes and shirts.
Helmets, sun helmets and caps further allow for temperate or tropical troops to be built so you can field your army in the dusty deserts of North Africa, the islands of the Mediterranean, the harsh cold of Russia, or the Italian home front. Medium mortar, machine gun and anti-tank gun support elements provide additional firepower. Providing armoured support is the M13/40 medium tank which can alternatively be built as a Semovente 75/18 assault gun.

The ubiquitous 25-pdr was the standard artillery piece of the Australian Army in the Pacific Theatre, as it had been in the desert. The complete lack of roads and the dense jungle terrain encountered on the Pacific islands meant that deploying these guns was extremely difficult.
One solution was to modify the gun by removing the gun shield and shortening the barrel. These were known as the 25-pdr 'Short' and were 500kg lighter than the original, able to be manhandled and air-dropped.
